Barkway is a wonderfully historical village in Hertfordshire, five miles south-east of Royston.

Properties in Barkway range from 15th and 16th century to modern day, and the church is over 800 years old.

A recreation area, golf course, infants school and pub benefit this village and around 700 residents make up this tight-knit community.

Did you know: There is a full peal of 8 bells in the church, which are rung weekly.
